Casey is our Client Care Coordinator. She is originally from New England. Hailing from Massachusetts and New Hampshire, she moved down here for family. She started school at UNC Charlotte for Meteorology and ended up finishing her Bachelor’s in Mathematics and Education from Eastern Nazarene College.
Casey has spent the last decade working in the medical profession whether it was through administrative work such as a Front Office Coordinator in a Neurosurgery Clinic or in the mental health field. Her experience has included working as a Peer Support Specialist in a Step Up Step Down program for adults working through Major Depressive Disorder, Schizophrenia, Substance Misuse, and more. She has also worked as a Direct Support Professional for Individuals with Developmental Disabilities, such as those on the Autism Spectrum, Down Syndrome, those who are Deaf, and Non-Verbal. She has also worked as a Memory Care Specialist with the elderly in a Memory Care Unit, coordinating activities for over 30+ seniors with Dementia, Alzheimer’s, and Lewy Body Dementia. She enjoys helping people in any capacity, especially when it comes to mental health.
In her free time, she enjoys dancing, painting, reading, and playing the piano. She has also been known to join a gym or two for adult gymnastics. Casey says “Physical health and mental health are one and the same to me—you cannot have one without the other!”
